As I mentioned in a previous post, I earned $20 towards the King Soopers MarketPlace Holiday Thank You Bonus. I wanted to get over to the King Soopers MarketPlace in Arvada today to take advantage of the discount, so I dragged my friend Nikki along with me. We walked the store a little to see what the difference was from the MarketPlace and a Regular store. The MarketPlace store has furniture, rugs, jewelry, bedding, and much more besides the regular grocery store items. They had details about the Holiday Bonus posted throughout the store for items that you would be able to buy with the Bonus. I went looking for toys for my God-Daughter. I picked up a couple Dora toys for her that totalled $23.98.
So we decided to go to the self-check since the toys were the only things we were going to buy. I scanned my SooperCard and the toys and the $20 came off automatically, even before I hit the 'Pay Now' button. So in total with tax I paid $4.30!
